ARREST Next Steps for 2013



Through USAID, ARREST will build
upon progress in the months to come which will include the debut of new public awareness campaigns through PSAs and airport exhibitions in Cambodia and the innovative iTHINK campaign in Thailand. ARREST’s training will continue to strengthen regional law and protected area enforcement through the new PROTECT-Marine, PROTECTManagers, PATROL Anti-Smuggling and combined SIG/DETECT-Managers courses, as well as the implementation of Operation Cobra. Finally, ARREST will participate in and lead high-level meetings during the CITES 16th Conference of Parties (COP16) in March 2013 in Bangkok, Thailand, highlighting ASEAN-WEN and providing a platform for further support of the network.
